If it’s that Southern hospitality you crave, along with incredible food, art, and culture then Georgia is the place for you! 

 

Savannah Historic District, which is the largest National Historic Landmark District in the United States is a must-visit spot while spending time in Georgia! From it’s incredible nightlife and restaurant scene to it’s romantic cobble-stone streets, there’s something for everyone in the Savannah Historic District.

 

If you’re more into nature we recommend visiting Forsyth Park, Rock City Gardens, and the North Georgia Mountains which truly need to be experienced first hand.

 

 

#4 – South Carolina

 

If you’re looking to stay in the south, South Carolina is just about three hours from Georgia. Some notable spots to visit while in South Carolina are Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and Beaufort

 

In Charleston you’ll discover delectable food and wine, go treasure hunting for unique antiques while enjoying the lovely scenery of beautiful homes and gardens of the city.

 

Beaufort is known for its famous antebellum architecture and charming historic districts. The famous Myrtle Beach is every beach lovers dream! With stunning beaches, great golf, and tons of incredible shopping it’s no wonder why Myrtle beach is a favorite to locals and travelers alike.

If you’re looking for a more laid back vibe, Key West might be the city for you! You’ll enjoy great drinks and food in a more relaxed setting, allowing you to focus on the abundance of natural beauty that Key West offers its inhabitants.

While visiting Nevada, you can start your day in one of the states four massive, unbelievably beautiful National Parks, and end your night at a show in a casino on the Las Vegas Strip! There’s almost too much fun to be had and places to experience in Nevada. Las Vegas, which is famous for its casinos. Hosting great theatrical performances, the city caters to visitors of all age groups with shows going on all the time from up and coming musicians to artists we all grew up with and love.

 

Some of our favorite parks in Nevada are Great Basin National Park and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area which is located in the Mojave Desert National Preserve. 

 

 

#1 – Phoenix, Arizona

 

Our favorite RV vacation spot is Phoenix, Arizona. 

 

Not only is the weather perfect all year round, but the locals are warm, friendly and are really just excited to meet you! Arizona is also home to some of the most stunning natural wonders in the country. 

 

The Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, and Saguaro National Parks are must-see destinations whether spending the winter in Arizona and escaping the cold in an RV park or just driving by.

 

Joshua Tree National Park is also just a short drive away from Holiday Palms RV Resort which is located just outside Phoenix, Arizona.

 

Phoenix, Arizona is the fifth most populous city in the United States. With an abundance of art, culture, music, restaurants, and shows, you can do it all in Phoenix! 

 

If you’re looking for a break from the city life, it’s easy to find great year round RV parks that are located just outside of the city. Making it the perfect spot to enjoy restaurants and culture while coming back to your relaxing extended stay RV park.

 

If you’re looking for the best place to live in the US when you have arthritis, look no further! Phoenix being warm and dry makes it the perfect climate for arthritis sufferers. It’s also the perfect state to escape the winter from. Snowbirds love traveling to Arizona in the Winter, packing sunscreen and a bikini while their friends back home are trying to figure out which pile of snow their car is under!
